This one was hard going for me in the beginning but once I got into the story I really enjoyed it. Horse and Marie's relationship is certainly unconventional, angsty and emotional but once she better understands the biker world, and the positon of women in the club their connection strengthens and flourishes. Wylde paints a vivid portrait of the hierarchy within the club that steps way outside traditional and what we consider acceptable social convention you have to be ready for the violence and debauchery, however the men who have found women who they consider "theirs" are protected and revered. Excellent read and I'm looking forward to reading more of this author's work.
